Sleep No More, the best silent, Eyes Wide Shut interpretation of Macbeth ever performed, has added an extra layer of WTF to an upcoming performance.

According to an email sent out by the team behind the Emursive/Punchdrunk show, only returning members will be allowed in April 1st for a special “remixed” performance. What does that mean? Who knows! Try to figure out the clues from the photo.

After fans got wind of the response, all hell broke loose.

The only problem? When people went to go buy tickets to the one-time only event, they learned that the show had sold out in two minutes. Additionally, the site may have overloaded, leading potential buyers to this screen:

Or was this all part of the hoax? After all, Sleep No More has played with the concept of alternate reality gaming before. Maybe this screen was just a trick to throw people off the scent while some ingenious geeks cracked the code and got VIP tickets.
