Sponsored by Yves Saint Laurent, last night’s debut of Manon brought out a flock of Hollywood beauties to the Metropolitan Opera House.

The starlets running to see Jules Massenet‘s new production were either in a hurry (this cold snap could make anyone want to rush indoors) or channeling Marilyn with their head-craning stances.

Sure, it can look a little Exorcist-y–how far can they rotate their heads, anyway?–but the result was as glamorous and classic as a night at the Met itself.
