We go to Daniel for special occasions, naturally—Bitsy’s kindergarten graduation, or Trip’s release from rehab—but chef Daniel Boulud is a bit more altruistic. He marks life occasions, apparently, with a benefit for Citymeals-on-Wheels. In honor of his 30th anniversary in New York, Mr. Boulud is cooking up a feast for 150 lucky guests. French chef Alain Solivérès takes some time out from trying to find that third Michelin star his restaurant Taillevent lost a while back to cook alongside Mr. Boulud. We’ll be there—it’s all for a good cause, and any chance we have to help Mr. Boulud celebrate is a special occasion. (We’re also celebrating Muffin’s acceptance to Skidmore.)
Daniel, 60 East 65th Street, 4:30 p.m. Tickets and information can be found at http://www.citymeals.org/
