Last night, The Standard Hotel opened up its top floor—both Le Bain and the Boom Boom Room—to toast to the success of Lena Dunham and Judd Apatow‘s new HBO series, Girls.
After a screening at the SVA Theater, comedians and stars alike came out to raise a glass to the show and its stars. And we’re using the term comedian loosely…guests included Brian Williams, whose daughter Allison Williams, stars in the show.

"You have no idea what's going on under this dress!" Exclaimed writer/director/actor/executive producer Lena Dunham, standing next to her on-screen beau, Adam Driver.
"You mean like four pairs of Spanx?" We asked.
"No," she told The Observer. "This is a vintage dress made out of whalebone, and the bones are poking at me in all sorts of weird places."
Sounds like fun.
We stopped executive director Judd Apatow after he dropped a dollar on a couch cushion at Le Bain.
"Keep it," Mr. Apatow said. "Give it to Rex Reed."
Consider us burned?
"She's just the most creative, hard-working person I've ever met," Mr. Apatow said of his young protegee. "Oh, and she's very funny."
"I want to be on your show so badly!" The Precious star told Ms. Dunham. "But I'm on a Showtime now!" Ms. Sidibe currently plays Andrea Jackson on The Big C.
When we asked Ms. Trahtenberg if she had any plans to guest star in the show, she looked to Mr. Apatow.
"It's okay, the photos are out, you can tell her," he assured her.
"Okay, cool. Yes, I'm going to be on the show," said the cautious actress.
The two SNL actors seemed exhausted as they gamely made their way around the room.
"We just got out of table readings at 9:30," Mr. Killam told us. "But Bobby is in the show, so we wanted to come out."
Also in Girls is Lonely Island's Jorma Tacone, who spent the evening trying to remain inconspicuous.
"Does anyone know who Olivia Palermo is?" One actress sneered. "Because she's not a socialite."
Yes, there were two Josh Grobans at the party...though the one on the right was a lawyer.
"On the record, it's nice to meet you!" Mr. Groban said, after he showed up late to the party to meet his very off-the-record lady friend.
"Terry is freaking out," confided one source as we entered the party. "He thinks people are standing too close to him."
We ran into the photog and his girlfriend Audrey Gelman as they made a hasty exit. He seemed nice enough...even shook our hands, so at least we know he's not a germaphobe.
Both Allison Williams and co-star Jemina Kirke brought their famous dads as dates. How cute!
