Remember that episode of Sex and the City where Charlotte and Trey go to a “Highland Fling” and wear gorgeous tartan and get into a fight? Subtract the fight and add a lot of scotch (the drink—the people are “Scots”!) and you arrive at tonight’s no-more-or-less-real version, From Scotland With Love! In service of the Wounded Warrior Project and Cash for Kids, there’s a fashion show featuring Scots Olympians, three New York Giants and Matthew Modine. (Hey, where ya been, Matthew?) Have fun, but remember: the only “trainspotting” at tonight’s big Scotland-themed soirée will be gazing at long swaths of fabric behind the lady models’ gorgeous dresses!
