the eight-day week

To Do Tuesday: Paris in the Springtime

The Paris Review’s got a lot to celebrate, not least its success under newish editor Lorin Stein, who’s joined by éminence grise and possible role model Robert Silvers in a celebration of the magazine’s 200th issue. New York’s literati are to fete serious-magazine editors both legendary (Mr. Silvers is to accept an award for his helming of The New York Review of Books) and emerging at the Spring Revel. The party is to be hosted by Chris Hughes, the new editor of The New Republic, and his fiancé. Maybe Mr. Stein can pass on some advice about shepherding iconic publications in this go-go new-media age!

Cipriani 42nd Street, 110 East 42nd Street, 7 p.m. Tickets and information can be found at http://store.theparisreview.org/products/revel-tickets.
