To Do Monday: Costume Party

  • The 27th Annual LUCILLE LORTEL AWARDS

Last night was the 25th anniversary of the Lucille Lortel Awards, which celebrate the best Off-Broadway performances of the year. Sort of like the Tonys, but even more obscure!

Still, the event, held at NYU’s Skirball Center, drew in a nice mix of both celebrities and stage stars, and seemed to have focused heavily on ladies we used to know from our favorite films, TV shows, and Broadway performances. Check out our slideshow to see who showed up!

Gossip Girl's Michelle Trachtenberg, looking pretty Buffy-era goth.

  • Back Forward Lucy Liu

    Lucy Liu

Ms. Liu looks better than we've seen since the last Charlie's Angels film.

  • Back Forward Sarah Paulson

    Sarah Paulson

Last seen portraying Nicolle Wallace in Game Change, a relaxed Ms. Paulson looked infinitely more chill last night.

  • Back Forward Cristin Milioti

    Cristin Milioti

Ms. Miloti will always have a place in our hearts for that 30 Rock episode last season that should have won an Emmy, "TGS Hates Women."

  • Back Forward Rose Hemingway

    Rose Hemingway

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying's Ms. Hemingway is a Broadway star in the making...but after playing opposite Darren Criss and Daniel Radcliffe, she probably already knew that.

  • Back Forward Celia Keenan-Bolger

    Celia Keenan-Bolger

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee did great things for Ms. Keenan-Bolger's career, but she still remembers she got her start off-Broadway!

  • Back Forward Tonya Pinkins

    Tonya Pinkins

Ms. Pinkins ended up taking home the award for Best Outstanding Featured Actress for her role in Milk Like Sugar yesterday evening, but we'll always know her as Heather Dalton from All My Children.

  • Back Forward Halley Feiffer

    Halley Feiffer

Noah Baumbach muse and Jennifer Jason Leigh lookalike Halley Feifer has gone back to her theatrical roots.

  • Back Forward Alexis Biedel

    Alexis Biedel

We loved Ms. Biedel's cameo on Mad Men last night, though come on...who can forget her from Sin City? (Just kidding, she'll always be Rory to us!)

  • Back Anna Chlumsky

    Two words: My Girl.
