PC Peterson, erstwhile star and lightning-rod for recap controversy on Bravo’s much-missed one-season wonder NYC Prep, showed up to support the Sesame Workshop at last night’s anniversary gala. (His stepgrandmother, Joan Ganz Cooney, created Sesame Street; his grandfather, Pete Peterson, was Secretary of Commerce.) Indeed, when we asked why he was there, he replied, “My grandfather.” A year since his graduation from Rollins College, he’s currently working at the Museum of Modern Art, he says, in “painting and sculpture.”
As for reality TV? “You’re there to make yourself look bad. That’s your job.”
Breaking the hearts of reality-TV fans, he told us, “I would absolutely never do that again” before taking to the carpet to have some pictures taken with the Muppets.
