It’s the biggest night of the year for shut-ins. The Webby Awards, streamed live online, honor the best of Internet culture. And no, that isn’t an oxymoron! Top honors this year go to "Person of the Year" Louis C.K. for his Web-only comedy special and "Artist of the Year" Björk for her album/mobile phone app. (We would say it seems Louis C.K. isn’t an artist, but it seems far more likely that Björk isn’t actually a person.) The event, for those attending "IRL," is a weekend-long celebration, culminating in Monday night’s presentation—kept to a brisk 90 minutes by the rule that all recipients may give only five-word speeches. No points for guessing how many of those words Louis C.K. would not be able to say on television!
