the eight-day week

To Do Saturday: Street Eats

Kutsher’s Tribeca

It’s a day of food outdoors in Tribeca, and not one of those wan street fairs that offer up grilled corn and lemonade for 10 bucks. No, we’ll be walking the streets and picking up dishes from Kutsher’s (Jeffrey Chodorow, we can’t stay mad at you!), Nobu and Bouley. This year’s Taste of Tribeca features food from those restaurants and more. While we’re not sure we can imagine David Bouley dishing out prix-fixe lunches on the street, it’s a step up from chain Le Pain Quotidien, which also has a booth. (Though, any restaurant with “pain” and “quotidian” in its name should be avoided, we think.)

Duane Street between Greenwich and Hudson, 11:30am-3pm; information at tasteoftribeca.com.
