While we’re still pretty annoyed by the end of the Laura Palmer mystery, we can’t stay mad at David Lynch. The man’s given us far more than his share of scares—plus, he taught us how to meditate! We’ll be among the many super-devoted fans at a tribute to the music of Lynch films, put on by the instrumental tribute act Silencio. The Antonio Badalamenti scores in question accompanied such films as Wild at Heart, Eraserhead and Blue Velvet (though we’ll miss Isabella Rosselini singing the title song from that movie). Film clips and a burlesque artist are to accompany the music—we expect there to be a great deal of atmosphere!
(Le) Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, doors open at 6:30pm, show at 7:30pm; tickets and information at lepoissonrouge.com.
