It’s been more than a year since the last spate of royal worship. Kate Middleton is out. (And Pippa was never anything more than a flattering camera angle.) We’ve found the European royal with whom we’re obsessed—because we can actually meet her! Princess Benedikte of Denmark, a 68-year-old monarch with charitable impulses, is to attend the Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House Legacy Awards, an event raising money for the community association. Her Royal Highness has a history of supporting the Settlement House, and we can’t wait to both thank her for her support and fill us in on centuries’ worth of gossip about the royal family even Vanity Fair isn’t covering!
