To Do Wednesday: Tick Talk

Kirsten Gillibrand (Getty Images)

With summer comes time outside, and though we prefer a Southampton beach chair to a cabin in the woods, our friends who go up to the Hudson Valley have told us at exhaustive and disgusting length about tick-borne disease. However can we support them? Weeelll, the Tick-Borne Disease Alliance is throwing a swank benefit tonight. Joining the Alliance are two U.S. senators, Kirsten Gillibrand and Richard Blumenthal, and two new “real housewives,” Aviva Drescher and Heather Thompson. We’re sure a bunch of bickering over camera time will ensue—and those housewives are no picnic, either!

229 West 43rd Street, 6:30pm; tickets and information at tbdalliance.org.
