New England patriot Tom Brady found out the hard way that not all sports stars with hot wives are created equal. Like David Beckham can definitely pull off a fauxhawk (which is exactly what it sounds like), but Mr. Brady, who appeared with the new ‘do on the red carpet for last night’s Met Fashion Institute Gala, only gets royally mocked by his fans.

Page Six breathlessly reported that the quarterback’s haircut opened him up to ridicule, even citing a couple responses on the Twitter for reference.

We had to take a look for ourselves…surely Patriots fans couldn’t be that cruel to their beloved champion. Or could they?

We have Mr. Brady’s reps for a response over the hair situation, but have yet to receive a response.

Now that's just silly. If he hit his head, how would his hair look so perfectly in place?

Is he pitching marketing ideas or making a joke? We never know when it comes to Creatives.

Oh yes, some people are referring to this a "pompa-hawk." Which, to be fair, is more on TMZ's head than it is on Brady's. Er...no pun intended.
