Lina Plioplyte and Ari Seth Cohen: bankrolled!

Ari Seth Cohen, the proprietor of noted street style blog Advanced Style (whose recent book party was littered with incredible women in incredible accessories), and his filmmaking partner Lina Plioplyte moments ago achieved their Kickstarter fundraising goal of $35,000. They got over the top with two weeks to spare, and will receive (at least) $35,052 to help them complete the production of their documentary spotlighting the eccentric and exceptionally well-dressed elder ladies of New York City.

Writing from London, where he is currently on book tour, Mr. Cohen gushed to us in an email, “Our goal was just the bare minimum to finish the film, so we are still very grateful for any backing. It feels amazing to be feel so much support and love for our concept and the Advanced Style Ladies. There is a community of people cheering us on and we want to make them proud.”
