We loved Diane Sawyer’s regal white at the Tonys, but at last night’s Public Theater Gala she dressed ever-so-slightly down without abdicating her throne as queen-consort of the New York theatrical scene. In popped-collar summer Oxford and splashy red skirt, Ms. Sawyer looked camera-ready–we just wish she’d enlisted Mike Nichols to hold his own jacket!
