For those who are into more intellectual stimulation than the Hamptons can provide (shocking, but true: there are more engaging places for the human mind!), we suggest checking in with the New York Philharmonic, which is ending its season in a dramatic fashion. The orchestral outfit is putting on Philharmonic 360, a program that considers the concept of "spatial music" by placing the musicians at the center of the spacious Wade Thompson Drill Hall at the Park Avenue Armory. The program, which features music from Don Giovanni, took place last night, too, but we’re going again—we have to sit in different parts of the hall just to see how the acoustics differ!

Park Avenue Armory, 643 Park Avenue; 8pm; tickets and information can be found at www.armoryonpark.org.
