It’s the 125th anniversary of Trail Blazers, the concern that allows kids from the city to experience a summer in the great outdoors. And as the kiddos are finally all out of school for the summer, there’s no better time for us adults to celebrate the Trail Blazers’ good work. This bash will have all the requisite elements, as necessary as lanyard-making at summer camp: a silent auction, seated dinner, cocktails. There’ll also be awards presented to representatives from the Nature Conservancy of New Jersey. We tried for five minutes to make a joke about how surprising it is that New Jersey has nature, but we’re in a charitable humor after all the bashes we’ve been to this week!
80 Fifth Avenue, 6:30pm; tickets and information can be found at trailblazers.org/events/trail-blazers-125/
