Lindsay Lohan was just in a horrific car accident on the Santa Moncia Freeway.
Don’t worry, she’s fine, though she totally totaled her black Porsche after rear-ending an 18-wheeler.
According to Ms. Lohan, who was conscious after the accident that required both her and her assistant to be hospitalized, the accident “wasn’t her fault,” since allegedly the truck had cut her off.
That is not why this accident was not her fault.
The blame of the accident lies with the California penal system; all the judges who failed to revoke her license during her multiple, multiple accidents and drunk driving episodes. The woman is a literal car-wreck.
Her first DUI was in 2006 when she was caught driving the wrong way down the freeway. Then she was arrested again in 2007 for driving under the influence and also with cocaine and a suspended license. Back in March, the probation was finally lifted. What a terrible ruling!
Then again, in 2010 she was given back her license the day after she finished her sentence. Who allowed that? She has managed to run over a guy’s foot, almost mowed down a baby stroller (with a baby inside), and was repeatedly arrested for driving while intoxicated.
No word yet on whether she was intoxicated while driving, but…come on. Take a wild guess.
California needs to enact a “Lindsay Law”: If the number of times you’ve been involved in drunk driving accidents is higher than the years since you received your learner’s permit, you license gets revoked forever.
So no, this accident wasn’t Lindsay Lohan’s fault. It is the fault of everyone who has let her behind the wheel: from her assistants to her parents to the judges. The woman is a menace, and one of these days she’s going to get herself (or someone else) killed.
