Faith Hope Consolo isn’t just an allegorically named real estate titan, she’s also a woman of valor. (“Valor” would be her middle name, but her parents found it a little on-the-nose.) Ms. Consolo, head of Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group, is co-chairing a tea for the “Women of Valor” who keep St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters operational. The Champagne starts pouring at 11:30. (Gotta keep that valor up somehow! Hiccup.) Meanwhile, those parents whose kids are home from summer camp—or who never sent the little darlings away, preferring their company, and living to regret it—can stop by “Ponies at the Players Club,” a Hamptons event that advertises whole-wheat garden-veggie pizza (fun! ick.) and pipe-cleaner crafts. No word on the ponies.
Women of Valor Awards, Waldorf-Astoria’s Grand Ballroom, 301 Park Avenue, invitation only. Ponies at the Players Club, Hamptons Players Club, 103 Montauk Highway (East Hampton), 5pm; information can be found at hamptonsplayersclub.com.
