From March 19th until the 23rd, yours truly will be a judge at Charleston Fashion Week, along with my style godmother Fern Mallis, designer Brandon Sun, Libertine’s Johnson Hartig, and designers Antonio Azzuolo and Christian Siriano, as well as Grammy Award winning singer Ashanti (who I just know will be “Always On Time”). During the week, sponsored by Blake Motor Company, 20 emerging designers will be competing under the tents in Marion Square and on the 23rd, a Grand Prize Winner will be chosen to take home a package valued at over $20,000! There will also be runway shows by Libertine and Siriano (last year our pal Chris Benz showed) and K. Cooper Ray of Social Primer will debut his SP Smoking Collection which we hope we will be able to buy as Ray’s Instagram posts of Bruce Weber-esque preppy models in SP makes us want to own everything said hunks are wearing.
