Last month we asked Nylon magazine’s Dani Stahl what her one beauty product is that she couldn’t possibly live without. While she couldn’t pick just one, the Style Editor-at-Large and jewelry designer told us that her list would begin with Mario Badescu oxygen facials and that her aesthetician, Irina, is the master! Intrigued by the concept of oxygen infused facials and admittedly envious of her flawless skin, I thought I’d give it a whirl.

Tucked away inside a residential building is this skin care mecca. A tiny space saturated with what looks like all of Manhattan’s It girls. Irina begins my treatment with a facial and extractions and prepares my skin for the next and final phase, the Oxygen Treatment. I learn that the Oxygen Treatment can be added onto any facial or done alone. Irina—who Stahl wasn’t kidding, is the master, decides what is best for each client. The Oxygen Treatment which feels like a light, cool mist infuses vitamins A, C and E, along with 87 minerals, enzymes and amino acids. Not to mention, it feels so soothing! I leave the facial with my face glowing and sans make-up (unheard of following a facial), I walk over to The Smith restaurant for brunch—such a wonderful way to spend a Saturday.
